Centje reads along with your bank accounts, takes off what is still due this month and gives you one number to build on. When you need a plan, the coach does the maths with you and sets it up.

Works with your own bank
Your bank shows what you spent. Centje shows what you can still spend, and how to keep more of it.
01Weekly allowance
Your balance says little when rent, health insurance and three subscriptions still have to go out. Centje takes those off first, keeps money aside for groceries and fuel, and spreads the rest over the days until payday.

02Coach
Ask whether that holiday fits, how to pay off a debt faster or why this month was so expensive. The coach looks it up in your own transactions, works it out and sets up the plan straight away.

03Looking ahead
Centje knows your salary, your bills and your habits, including that one big purchase every few months. So you see months ahead where your balance is heading and which month gets tight. In time to do something about it.

04Subscriptions and bills
A streaming service you forgot about, a gym that quietly got more expensive. Centje finds them, shows what they cost per year and asks about each one: keep, remind me or cancel.

05Also when money is tight
Money worries have nothing to do with being clever or not. Centje helps you keep track, especially of the things you’d rather not look at.

Every Klarna, Riverty and in3 instalment in one place, with when it goes out.
What you still owe, and a payoff plan that fits what you have left.
See what goes in and what comes back, set your own limit and find anonymous help.
Put something on your wishlist and decide after 48 hours. What you no longer want, you keep.
Made for the Netherlands
A Tikkie belongs to the dinner you paid for. So you see what something really cost you.
Link a second phone and see your money together, or each your own part.
ING, Rabobank, ABN AMRO, ASN, SNS, bunq, Triodos and more, side by side.
Centje recognises toeslagen, holiday pay and your health insurance deductible, so they don’t surprise you.
Independent
When Centje suggests cancelling something or switching, it’s because it saves you money. Not because we make money from it.
No advertising and no sponsored tips. Anywhere in the app.
We get nothing for loans, insurance, energy contracts or investments.
Your data is never sold and never shared for marketing.
Pricing
We want Centje to stay within reach for everyone, especially when money is tight. To keep it running we ask a small fee: monthly, or yearly with a discount. That way you pay for the app itself, and we don’t need to make money from you through ads, commission or your data.
A small fee, stop whenever you like
Better value if you stay
Free during the test. You’ll hear the price well in advance, and you decide whether to carry on.
Privacy and security
Centje sees your balance and transactions, but can never move money. The connection isn’t made for it.
You approve in your bank’s app. For at most 180 days, and you can end it any time, at your bank or in Centje.
Account numbers never go to the AI, and people you pay become a code. Your data trains no AI.
One button ends your bank connections and erases everything. Right away, no waiting period.
Supervised. The bank connection runs through Enable Banking, registered as an account information service (PSD2) with the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority FIN-FSA.
Honest measuring
Every money app says it saves you money. We want to know for sure, so we keep track of whether Centje really helps. Without reading along with what any one person does.
How many people stay within their weekly allowance week after week, and for how long.
Results to followWhat people have left each month, compared with the months before they used Centje.
Results to followWhat saving tips bring in, measured from real spending instead of promised amounts.
Results to followAs soon as enough people take part to say something meaningful, we’ll put the results here. Also if they disappoint. We only see totals over everyone, never what one person bought or asked.

Nothing during the test. After that we ask a small fee per month, or per year with a discount, to keep Centje running. You’ll hear the price well in advance and decide for yourself whether to carry on. Ads or commission won’t be part of it.
No. The connection is read-only: Centje sees your balance and transactions, but can never pay or move money.
Almost all Dutch banks, such as ING, Rabobank, ABN AMRO, SNS, ASN, Triodos and bunq. You can connect more than one.
No. The coach explains, does the maths and helps you make a plan with your own numbers. It doesn’t advise on loans, insurance or investments, and sells nothing.
A summary of your finances and the transactions it looks up, without account numbers. People you pay become a code. You can see and delete what the coach remembers about you.
Not as an app yet. You can use Centje in your browser at centje.io/app.
Go to Settings → Delete all my data. Your bank connections end and everything is erased.
