Centje terms of use
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Centje app. Questions: privacy@centje.io.
What Centje is
Centje gives you an overview of your money and general budgeting tips. It is not financial, tax or investment advice. Analyses and the AI coach can be wrong or incomplete: check important decisions yourself.
Closed test
Centje is a closed test for now. Features may still change or disappear. Access codes are personal and work once: only share them with people you know.
Read-only
Centje only reads account data you give permission for. It cannot make payments or move money. The bank connection runs through Enable Banking; their end-user terms, which you accept when connecting, apply to that connection.
Your account
The app makes an account for your phone without a password. Keep your phone safe (Face ID helps) and only share an invite code with your partner: with it they can see your shared finances.
Fair use
Don’t misuse the service, for example by trying to access other people’s data, getting the coach to do things that have nothing to do with your money, or overloading it. To keep costs in check, the AI has a limit per day and per month.
Availability
Centje is provided as it is, free of charge. We do our best to keep it working and correct, but can’t guarantee it is always available or error-free.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Centje is not liable for damage resulting from using the app or from decisions based on it.
Stopping
You can stop at any time and delete all your data in Settings. If Centje stops as a service, we will let you know in good time.
Law
Dutch law applies.
